HOUSTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros swimming & diving program is headed to Rice for the Rice Fall Splash this weekend.
The Vaqueros are coming off a solid performance against Incarnate Word last weekend where sophomore
Manou Meulebeek qualified for the NCAA Zone "D" Diving Championships on the 1-meter springboard with a score of 265.72 and set a new school record in the 3-meter springboard with a score of 319.50.
At this meet, UTRGV will compete against Rice, Little Rock, St. Thomas, and Loyola. Both meets will take place at the Rice Competition Pool with Friday's meet starting at 4 p.m. and Saturday's meet starting at 10:30 a.m.
