RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros Department of Intercollegiate Athletics learned on Wednesday that 11 student-athletes from the swimming & diving team were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team.
 
The 11 Vaqueros honored on this team include seniors Abygail Martinez and Delaney Murphy, juniors AJ Rogers and Chloe Siegrist, and sophomores Diara Aleman, Caitlyn Brown, Mia Gonzalez, Madiana Lofgren, Manou Meulebeek, Ida Rudelius, and Olivia Votava.
 
To qualify for the MPSF All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically with a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better. Student-athletes are also required to compete in at least 50% or more of the institution's competition and have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is earned.
