RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The Southland Conference (SLC) announced the 2025 Women's Tennis All-Academic Teams and Student-Athlete of the Year on Monday and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) senior
Kristal Dule was voted to the All-Academic Second Team.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better, completed at least one semester at the nominating institution, and competed in at least 50% of the team's contests. Teams are voted on by the head coaches, academic advisors and sports information directors across the conference.
Dule earned a bachelor's in economics in May. She led UTRGV with a 9-7 singles record this spring and went 6-3 in conference play. The Pove del Grappa, Italy native received the Anheuser Busch/Ann LaMantia Award at the 2025 V Awards, which goes to the female senior student-athlete with the highest GPA. She is also a two-time CSC Academic All-District Team honoree.
