RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros swimming & diving program is ready for their spring opener as they host fellow Mountain Pacific Sports Federation member New Mexico State (NMSU) Saturday at 11 a.m. at the City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium.
The Vaqueros are coming off a great end to the fall, smashing 11 school records during the Northwest Collegiate Invite, hosted by Idaho, and the NAU Diving Invite, hosted by Northern Arizona.
This will be the second overall meeting between UTRGV and NMSU as NMSU claimed a 241.50-58.50 victory last season in Las Cruces.
The meet starts at 11 a.m. and will follow a rolling schedule. The meet is free and open to the public. Complimentary admission can obtained for all home UTRGV swimming & diving meets by getting a UTRGV Swimming & Diving Pass
