RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Friday that the baseball season ticket renewal process is now underway.
 
Current season ticket members have received an email directly from Showpass with a link for them to login to their account. Once logged in, fans will see a "Memberships" tab underneath their name and a button that says "Renew Membership" after they select baseball.
 
Fans can lock-in 2026 prices and guarantee they keep the same seats by renewing by July 31. Fans renewing by May 31 get a pair of extra complimentary tickets to a 2027 Southland Conference game that will be determined later. Fans renewing by June 30 will receive a card for free popcorn at each home game next season.
 
Reserved and home plate club seats have a per-seat Vaqueros Athletic Fund (VAF) donation associated with each season ticket purchase. These donations help raise crucial resources to accomplish the mission of UTRGV Athletics.
 
The VAF represents and serves the mission of supporting Vaqueros student-athlete success by providing resources that are necessary to compete for championships, earn degrees, and create leaders of tomorrow
 
Per-seat donations, including premium seating purchases, are not tax-deductible. UTRGV does not provide tax counsel and encourages supporters to seek the advice of professional counsel when considering the tax deductibility of any contribution.
 
Current total pricing for UTRGV baseball season tickets is $130 for general admission, $230 for reserved seats, and $755 for home plate club seats.

UTRGV sold a program record 1,701 full season tickets for baseball this season. This is the fourth year in a row that UTRGV has broken its baseball season tickets record.
 
UTRGV currently ranks 32^nd in the NCAA is total attendance (52,742) and 26^th in average attendance (3,516). Including tonight's 956 Night, presented by Payne Auto Group, which is already sold out, UTRGV has already welcomed a program record five crowds of 5,000+ this season.
 
Being a season ticket member not only guarantees fans tickets to every game, but includes:

• A priority game day entrance, providing quicker and more convenient ballpark access.
• Priority access to popular promotional giveaways through a dedicated Season Ticket Member line. 
• Vaqueros Loyalty Points, which can lead to priority for future seat upgrade requests across all sports. 
• Exclusive Season Ticket Member gifts, including signed items from coaches and student-athletes. 
• Invitation-only appreciation events celebrating the support of Season Ticket Members.
