TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's golf team finished in 11^th place in their first-ever NCAA Regional on Tuesday at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee.
 
The Vaqueros bounced back from their second round with a final round 306 as the finished with a three-round score of 944 to finish ahead of Little Rock.
 
Sophomore Miriam Barcalova led the Vaqueros with a three-round score of 233 as she finished tied for 52^nd after posting a final round three-over par 75.  

Junior Natalia Rodriguez paced the Vaqueros in the final round with a one-over par 73 to finish in 57^th with a three-round score of 236. Rodriguez posted a front nine one-under 35 with two birdies, six pars, and a bogey while posting a 38 on the back nine with two birdies, four pars, a bogey, and a double bogey. 
 
Sophomore Zoe Hobbs carded a final round 79 to finish in tied for 58^th with a three-round score of 237. Sophomore Pitchayapa Pungpho finished in 60^th with a three-round score of 238 after posting a final round 79. 
 
Junior Preston Saiz improved from her first round with a final round 82 as she finished in 65^th place with a two-round score of 171.
