RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) volleyball program announced a series of summer camps to be held in Brownsville from June 23-26 at James Pace High School.
 
The Vaqueros are planning to host four camps, including a Little Vaqueros Camp, Setting Camp, Hitting Camp, and Defense Camp. All camps are led by UTRGV Head Volleyball Coach Todd Lowery and the entire volleyball coaching staff.
 
Little Vaqueros Camp – Pace High School – June 23 – 6-8 p.m. – Grades 1-5
 
The Little Vaqueros Camp is designed for younger or beginner volleyball players, entering grades 1-5, that are focused on learning the basic skills and having fun. The price to register for the Little Vaqueros Camp is $60.
 
Setting Camp – Pace High School – June 24 – 6-8 p.m. – Grades 6-12
 
The Setting Camp is designed to help athletes, entering grades 6-12, strengthen individual setting skills and learn new techniques. The price to register for the Setting Camp is $75.
 
Hitting Camp – Pace High School – June 25 – 6-8 p.m. – Grades 6-12
 
The Hitting Camp is designed to help athletes, entering grades 6-12, strengthen individual setting skills and learn new techniques. The price to register for the Hitting Camp is $75.
 
Defense Camp – Pace High School – June 26 – 6-8 p.m. – Grades 6-12
 
The Defense Camp is designed to help athletes, entering grades 6-12, strengthen individual setting skills and learn new techniques. The price to register for the Defense Camp is $75.
