FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros outdoor track & field freshman
Antwoine Warren finished 31
st in the men's high jump at the NCAA West First Round at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday.
Warren cleared 2.07 meters on his second attempt and was one of 20 competitors to hit that mark. He gave three good attempts at 2.12 meters but was unable to advance. The top 12 jumpers advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
UTRGV will wrap up the meet Saturday at 5 p.m. as the team of redshirt junior

Dior Williams and senior
Kaliyah Poston run in Heat 3 of the women's 4x100-meter relay. The top three teams in each of the three heats plus the next three best times will advance to Eugene.
