RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Thursday the details for the fourth annual UTRGV Golf Classic presented by D. Wilson Construction, benefiting the men's and women's golf programs, on Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. at Champion Lakes Golf Course, the home of the Vaqueros Golf Center.
 
The UTRGV Golf Classic is a 4-person scramble with a cost of $700 per team. Participants can also purchase a Vaqueros Bundle which includes both team registration and hole sponsorship for $1,000.
 
Additional sponsorship opportunities include the golf cart for $5,000, scoreboard for $1,000, and individual holes for $500 each. 
 
All proceeds from the registration fee and the sponsorship directly benefit the reigning Southland Conference champion UTRGV men's and women's golf programs.
