BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's golf team is set to open their fall season at Lady Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts, starting on Monday at Hillcrest Country Club.

Tournament Format

• The tournament will be played on Monday and Tuesday.
• 36 holes will be played on Monday with the final 18 holes to be played on Tuesday.
• Play will begin each day with a split-tee start with UTRGV set to begin at 8:50 a.m. (CT).

Last Time Out  

• The Vaqueros finished tied for second at Northern Colorado's Bear Brawl on Tuesday.
• Junior Miriam Barcalova recorded her first top five finish of the season and the third top 10 finish of her career after placing tied for fourth with a three-round score of 217.
• Senior Natalia Rodriguez was the second Vaquero on the leaderboard finishing tied for seventh after shooting a three-round score of 220.
• Freshmen Avery Glanzer (231) and Kanyanat Kamphoo (232) finished tied for 20^th and tied for 21^st, respectively, in their debuts.

Making Their Debut

• Freshman Nerea Garrido Fernandez is making her collegiate debut in this tournament. In her junior career, Garrido reached 1,892^nd in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
