Biography

The most experienced member of the Lady Bronc squad, having recorded 61 career rounds... Will be counted on to provide leadership both on and off the course this season... Coming off a strong season in which she set career bests for rounds played, strokes and tied her low round of her career. 

1999-2000 (Junior):
Was third on the Broncs in stroke average with an 86.7... Got the spring season off to a great start, tying her career low round of 78 at the Lady Bronc Classic (2/24)... She would finish third overall with a 247 and helped the Lady Broncs to their first team title... Had her first top 20 finish of the season, tying for 16th at the Islander Invitational with a 167, including an opening round 81 (10/26)... Was the Broncs top finisher with a 248 at the Arkansas-Little Rock Invitational (10/19)... Tied for 33rd at the Lady Cardinal Invitational (10/5).

1998-99 (Sophomore):
Finished with the third best stroke average on the team for the second straight season with an 85.6... Had five top-25 finishes, including a sixth place showing at the Lady Bronc Classic... At the Lady Bronc Classic, Lauzon fired an 80, 82, and an 83 for her lowest three round score of the year (3/9)... Her opening round 80 was also her low round of the season... Tied for 12th overall and was first on the team at the Lamar Lady Cardinal Invitational (10/6)... Finished up the season with a 15th place showing at the Lady Elkins Lake Invitational (4/30). 

1997-98 (Freshman):
Lauzon had the third best stroke average on the team with an 85.5... played in eight of the nine tournaments... Showed no fear in firing an 82 in her first round of collegiate play at the Chip-N Club Invitational (9/9)... She finished 36th in the tournament... Posted her first career top-20 finish with a 15th place showing at the Lu Ellen Gibbs Invitational (9/16)... Posted top-25 finishes in three consecutive tournaments, beginning with the Lady Bronc Classic... Finished in a tie for 25th with a three-round total of 252 at the Lady Bronc Classic (3/17)... Finished 23rd overall at both the Sam Houston State Invitational (4/10) and the Santa Clara Colby Invitational (3/24)... Had her tournament of the season at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, posting her best single round (78) and best-three round total (247) and placed 27th overall (4/22). 

Personal:
Tootie is the daughter of E.A. Lauzon lll and DyAnn Lauzon... Lauzon was Club Champion for three years running at her home course, Columbus Coutry Club... In her final year at Columbus HS, under Coach Bill Toland, Lauzon was District Champion and finished fourth in the state of Texas... Majoring in Speech Communication at UTPA.
