Fall 1996: Played in two tournaments... Posted a tournament average of 89.5... Finished in a tie for 39th place with a score of 266 at the Lamar Lady Cardinal Invitational

As a sophomore (1995-96): Competed in seven tournaments registering an 89.5 stroke average... Finished in a tie for ninth spot at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational. 

As a Freshman (1994-95): Played in six tournaments... Posted a 87.2 stroke average... Shot a low round of 78 in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, finishing 16th overall.

Moody High School: Earned first team All-District 30-5A honors all four years for coach Rudy Valdez's team... Four-time All-Academic honoree... District 30-5A runner-up as a junior and qualified for Region lV tournament... Shot a low round of 77 in Region IV 5A tournament at Gabe Lozano GC in 1993... Lowest round was 73, shot in Pan American Junior Tournament in August 1994... Led team to third place finish in district as a senior. Memeber of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, drama club, student council and science club. 

Personal: Daughter of Crisoforo and Celeste Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas... Born November 27, 1975, in Corpus Christi... Majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology... Plans to become a physical therapist following graduation.
