2006 Season (Sophomore)
The UTPA sophomore was selected to the National Independent All-Tournament Team after finishing with a 1-2 record in the number-two singles' flight... recorded a victory in doubles' action with teammate Nicole Garcia against Northern Colorado... finished the season with a 4-14 record while playing both number-two in singles' action... recorded a 7-9 record in the number-one doubles' position with Garcia... finished with a team-high in victories in doubles' competition for the Lady Broncs... posted five doubles' victories in the final eight matches of the season... earned Dean's List Second Honors in both semesters during her sophomore academic campaign... garnered Bronc Pride 3.0 Club laurels for the fourth consecutive semester... was selected to the ITA All-American Scholar-Athlete Team for her efforts in the classroom. 

2005 Season (Freshman)
Buksik was the number-one singles' player all season for the Lady Broncs as the UTPA newcomer finished with a 2-7 record... recorded her first collegiate victory against Prairie View A&M followed by a three-set triumph against Texas Southern... was a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member in both semesters. 

Salier-Gymnasium Walblingen
Buksik played her prep career at Salier-Gymnasium in Waiblingen, Germany... competed with TEV-Fellback, Verbandsliga tennis team... played for a regional championship with TEV. 

Off The Court 
Buksik is the daughter of Hans and Naike Buksik... was born on Aug. 29, 1984... has one brother- Niels, who played tennis at the University of Texas-Arlington... majoring in international business management.
