Hendrix was a member of the 2008-09 conference championship team...awarded conference MVP and named MVP for the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes...named conference player of the year during the 2008-09 campaign...at season[apos]s end was named a JUCO All-American.

Hendrix earned two letters in basketball and one in football at Layton Christian Academy...named First Team All-State for two seasons during the basketball season...honored with MVP accolades for his basketball team...was a two-time region MVP...awarded All-Star honors for speech and debate... member of the Salt Lake Dynasty...received a gold medal at the summer Olympics in Utah...had the top-five leading scores in the school[apos]s history...a part of the first team to finish third at the state tournament (44-4 overall record).
