2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Went 1-for-3 with an RBI against Northwestern State (2/22) … Made first-career start, batting fifth at DH, going 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and one run scored against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/15).

2009-12 (McAllen Memorial High School): As a senior, hit .480 with six home runs, five triples and 43 runs scored … Had an on-base percentage of .621 and a slugging percentage of .947 while earning Second Team All-State, First Team All-Valley and First Team All-District honors … Led the Mustangs to their first playoff appearance in 15 years … Also played football as a junior and senior, earning Third Team All-State honors both years, as well as District 30-5A Defensive MVP and First Team All-Valley honors as a senior … Helped lead the mustangs to the 2011 District Championship while recording 150 tackles and four sacks … ranked seventh in his graduating class while serving as a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Assistance Leadership, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Mustangs Aspiring for Cancer Elimination.
