2016 (Freshman, McCook Community College): Struck out 97 batters in 77 innings, good for an average of 11.34 strikeouts per nine innings. He posted a strikeout to walk ratio of nearly 5:2 (97:41) while allowing just under a hit per inning (76 hits allowed). Opponents hit .244 against Adams, who finished 3-6 with a 4.09 ERA in 14 games (11 starts). Adams pitched seven complete games, including one shutout.
