2010 (junior)
Roth appeared in 23 games in relief for the Broncs…finished his junior season with a 2-2 record and a 4.25 ERA…pitched in 29.2 innings and allowed 19 runs, 14 earned, walked 18 and struck out 27…allowed 27 hits and opponents batted .255 against him…led the team in ERA, tied for the most relief appearances, tied for fifth in wins, second in hits and runs allowed and fourth in walks allowed.
2009 (sophomore)
Roth appeared on the mound on 16 occasions for the Broncs, while starting on seven occasions...earned two saves this season - his first against A&M-Corpus Christi (3/10) and the other over Houston Baptist (5/21)...pitched a total of 31 innings...struck out a total of 16 batters...pitched a career-high five innings against Notre Dame (3/15)...tied his career-high of four strikeouts against SFA (4/15) while only walking one in three innings on the hill.
2008 season (freshman)
The Austin, TX product appeared on 16 occasions for the Broncs earning both starting and relief appearances...collected an 0-2 record for the season...in his lone start of the season, pitched four innings against TAMUCC (Apr. 8)...posted a 7.50 earned run average...in 16 appearances pitched a total of 30 innings...was awarded a save against Texas Southern (Apr. 13) in a 14-12 victory...struck out 20 batters in 30 innings pitched...struck out a career-high four batters against Sam Houston...had only one bomb hit off of him.
2006-2007-Xavier University
Roth comes to the Rio Grande Valley from Xavier University where he was a red-shirt freshman.
Lake Travis High School
Roth earned three letters for the Cavaliers... led the Cavaliers to a 44-45 record and two district titles over his three seasons... finished with a 16-9 record on the mound with a 1.10 earned run average and 234 career strikeouts... posted a .340 batting average with four home runs and 50 RBI... earned first team all-district laurels his final two seasons ... was part of a team that was bi-district champions in 2004 and 2005... collected academic all-district honors.

Roth is the son of Scott and Julie Roth...has one brother - Andrew...has one sister - Melanie...born on April 14, 1988...majoring in Business Management.
