Indoor- at the Houston Invitational helped her 4x400 relay team finish 20th with a time of 4:17.08…Outdoor- competed in six meets during the outdoor season…finished first at the Cactus Cup in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.56 and also placed fourth in the 400-meters with a time of 1:09.09…recorded her best time in the 100-meter hurdles at the Rice Twilight meet with a time of 15.82s…posted her best time in the 400-meter hurdles at the at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:03.69 which gave her third place…finished eighth at the GWC Outdoor Championships in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.40s.
2009 Season
Indoor – Competed in all four meets during the indoor season…ran a season-best 8.29 in the 60-meter dash at the UH All-Comers Meet…broke the school record in the 60-meter hurdles as she clocked a time of 9.23 at the Texas A&M Invitational…posted a time of 26.99 in the 200-meter dash at the Great West Indoor Championships…Outdoor – Ran in all six meets for the outdoor season…collected eight top-10 finishes…placed second at the Cactus Cup in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.15…recorded a season-best 15.73 in the 100-meter hurdles at the UTEP Invitational…posted a career-best 1:05.08 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Texas Twilight…earned Dean’s List Second Honors.
2008 Season
Indoor – Hernandez competed in two meets during the indoor track and field season…finished 28th in her heat in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.27 at the Houston Indoor Invitational…competed in the 60-meter hurdles where she finished 31st in her heat at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a time of 9.52…notched a 46th place finish in her heat at the Bayou Classic in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.29…placed 35th in her heat in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bayou Classic with a time of 9.69…Outdoor – earned a spot in the record books for her sixth-place performance at the Texas State Open in the 100-meter hurdles where she recorded a time of 15.27…finished eighth overall in the 100-meter dash at the Border Olympics with a time of 12.99…notched a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.73 at the Border Olympics…at the Texas State Open, Hernandez competed in the 100-meter dash for an 11th place finish with a time of 12.94.
Saint Joseph Academy
Hernandez was a three-year letterman for Saint Joseph's Academy...garnered Track Athlete of the Year in 2007...holds the school record in the 300M hurdles with a time of 45.02...ran the 100M hurdles in 15.5...recorded a jump of 17-7 in the long jump...was a member of the French Honor Society.
