Bermea earned several awards while at LCC...named Second Team All-Conference as a libero during her freshman campaign...earned First Team All-Conference as setter during her sophomore season... and cited as the [quote]Most Improved Player[quote] in the conference...ranked second in the nation for assists (NJCAA)...in 2008, was the NJCAA Division I Top-Returning Player in Region XIV.

High School
Bermea earned several letters at J.W. Nixon High School with four in track and field and softball, three in volleyball and basketball and two in cross country...earned All-District honors in volleyball for three years...during her senior season, earned District MVP as a setter...made the Hub City Tournament All-Tourney team in 2005...was the Valley View Tourney MVP in 2006...

Bermea is the daughter of Randy Bermea and Mari Alvarado...born on July 5, 1989...has three brothers - Randy, Gilbert and Leo...and one sister - Nicole...majoring in kinesiology.
