Indoor- Placed sixth at the Houston Indoor Invitational in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:42.22...Outdoor - Had eight top-10 finishes in the season...ran his best time in the 1,500-meter run at the Rice Twight finishing second with a time of 3:54.23...placed fifth in the 5,000-meter run at the Texas Relays with a time of 15:03.19.

Cross Country - The UTPA sophomore competed in four meets during the cross country season...finished 14th overall with a time of 26:37.40 in the 8,000 meters at the National Independent Championships...recorded a 49th-place showing at the NCAA Division I South Central Regional Championships with a time of 32:20.80 in the 10,000-meter race...Indoor - Nava claimed his first collegiate title at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet where he recorded a time of 4:21.23 in the one-mile race...notched eighth-place laurels at the Wes Kittley Six-Way where he finished with a time of 2:39.23 in the 1,000-meter race...finished 24th overall at the Houston Indoor Classic with a mark of 2:01.13 in the 800-meter race.

2005
Cross Country - Nava earned All-South Central Regional honors for the first time in his career when he placed 24th at the NCAA Division I Regional Championships with a time of 32:29.25 in the 10,000-meter race...finished 12th at the National Independent Championships with a time of 25:40.58 in the 8,000-meter race...earned 11th-place honors in the 6,000 meters with a time of 18:12.07 at the Rice Invitational...Outdoor - Nava captured his first individual title in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:46.19 at the Houston Invitational...finished third in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:04.67 at the Angela Proctor Classic...placed fourth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:07.73 at the Spira Invitational...finished sixth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:22.63 at the Rice / RunSport Twilight...Classroom - The UTPA rookie was named to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor...was selected as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member during the fall and spring semesters.

Nava captured the cross country regional championships during his junior season and went on to finish 10th at the state meet that season...finished second at the regional championships in the one- and two-mile races during the track and field season...was fifth at the Texas State Championships in the two mile race along with finishing second in the regional competition...claimed runner-up honors at the cross country regional championships during his sophomore season and finished 16th overall at the state championships...earned seven letters for the Coyotes - three in track and field, three in cross country and one in soccer.
