Summer 2016 (Bethany Bulls, Jayhawk League): Hit .355 (38-for-107) with five doubles, 13 RBI and 24 runs scored while reaching base at a .415 clips in 28 games.

2016 (Freshman): Went career-best 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored at Utah Valley (5/14) … Drew career-high three walks while scoring a run vs. CSU Bakersfield (5/6) … Recorded first multihit game, going 2-for-3 with a walk and first steal at Lamar (3/6) … Went 1-for-3 while starting at shortstop in collegiate debut at Abilene Christian (2/20).

2012-15 (Pembroke Pines Charter High School): As a senior, hit .333 (26-for-78) with six doubles, one triples one home run, 17 RBI and 30 runs scored while getting on-base at a .396 clip … As a junior, hit .300 (21-70) with four doubles, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored while walking nine times and striking out just six times … Led his team to the district championship with a 19-5 record, advancing to the regional finals. For his efforts, Gomez earned the coaches award and Third Team All-County honors … Three-year starter … Excelled in the classroom as well, earning academic silver honors ever year.
