Competed in all four meets ... finished in sixth place at the Ricardo Romo/Six Flags Fiesta Texas Classic with a time of 15:20.1 ... finished in first place at the Islander Classic with a time of 26:11 ... at the Chilli Pepper Cross Country Festival finished with a time of 31:19.1 for a 68th place finish ... placed second at the Great West Conference Championship with a time of 25:20.89. 

2010 Season · Junior
Kotut was the top finisher for the Broncs at the Islander Splash when he came in third place with a time of 25:32.3…finished 28th at the NCAA South Central Regional meet with a time of 31:13.4.

Rend Lake
Kotut spent two seasons at Rend Lake before transferring to UTPA…ran a personal best 4:31.56 in both the 1,500 meter and mile runs in 2010…the distance runner competed in 1,500-meter, mile, 5,000-meter, 10,000-meter runs and the 3,000-meter steeple chase during his sophomore season.

Bishop Muge
Kotut was on the track team while attending Bishop Muge.

Off the Track
Kotut is the son of Nelson and Leah Kotut…has three brothers-Edwin, Laban, and Francis-and four sisters-Nelly, Vickie, Ann and Roda…born Dec. 21, 1987…majoring in nursing.
