Spring 2004
For the second straight season, Cortes was named a second time All-Independent selection...posted her best finish at the National Minority Golf Championships by placing third...tied for the 17th at the Bronc Intercollegiate Classic.. shot a 76 in the second round of that tournament tied for 26th at the Lindsey Collegiate Classic in Little Rock, AK after shooting a three-round total of 253...selected to the 2003-04 United State Achievement Academy (USAA) All-American Scholars...was a 2003-04 UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll recipient... garnered Dean's List second honors and Bronc Pride 3.0 Club laurels. 

Fall 2003
Cortes put together a tremendous season by finishing in the top 15 in three of four fall tournaments...finished 10th at the Texas State Bobcat Tournament after shooting a two-round total of 160...had a season-best three-round score of 231 at the Battle of the Lake Invitational in Monkey Island, OK finished tied for 15th at that tournament...shot a 235 at the Ellinson Fall Classic to end the season and finished tied for 13th...was recognized as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member. 

Spring 2003
Cortes was second team All-Independent selection during the spring after she finished in the top 11 in three tournaments...finished tied for fifth at the Bronc Intercollegiate Classic after shooting a three-round total of 236...shot a 74 in the first round of the Classic, which was a career-best...placed seventh at the National Minority Golf Championships with a score of 249...posted a two-round score of 153 at the Snowbird Intercollegiate Tournament, which ranked her 11th...finished tied for 23rd at the Eastern Kentucky Lady Colonial Classic and 24th at the Bearkat Invitational...member of the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club

Fall 2002
Cortes had her best showing of the fall season at the Northern Illinois Huskie Classic where she posted a two-round score of 164...finished tied for 10th at the tournament...shot a 75 in the final rounds of the Lady Eagle Invitational and Notre Dame Invitational...final round scores were her lowest in every tournament during the season...finished tied for 33rd at the Lady Eagle Invitational...was a member of the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club.

High School 
Cortes captured the title at the Mexico's Central Zone Tournament in 2000...placed second in the Central Zone Junior Tournament...finished fifth at the South Texas Junior Golf Classic in 2000.
