Set career bests in rounds played, strokes, stroke average and had the low round of her career during a strong junior campaign... Will be counted on to be a leader both on and off the course this season... Lane was one of four Lady Bronc golfers to be named to the Athletic Directors Honor Roll last year.

1999-00 (Junior):
Showed a strong improvement over her first season with the team, dropping her stroke average two stroke per round... Had her career best finish of second overall at the Lady Bronc Invitational, leading the Lady Broncs to their first team title... She finished with a career best 246 (82-82-82) for the three-round tournament... Finished 38th overall and third on the team at the Oral Roberts Women's Invitational (3/28)... Had a strong showing at the prestigious Utah-Dixe Classic, shooting a three-round total of 252, good for second on the team (4/5)... Tied for 39th overall at the Islander Invitational (10/26)... Took 46th place at the Lamar Invitational (10/5). 

1998-99 (Sophomore):
Played in four tournaments in her first season... Had the fifth best stroke average on the team... At the Tulane Green Wave Classic, Lane fired an 80 for her low round of the season (3/30)... Placed in the top 25 twice, at the Lady Bronc Classic and the Lady Elkins Lake Invite... Picked up her first career top-25 finish at the Lady Bronc Classic with a 20th place finish, firing a three-round total of 266 (3/9)... Had her second top-25 finish of the season with a 24th place showing at the Lady Elkins Lake Invtational (4/30). 

Personal:
Born on September 11, 1978... Jeannie is the daughter of William and Maria Lane... She was a four year letter winner and two time district champion and was voted Athlete of the Year in her senior season at Zapata High School... Lane was also a member of National Honor Society and graduated top ten in her class... Majoring in Kinesiology
