2006 Season (Sophomore)
Garcia posted a 7-11 record in singles' action during the 2006 season at the number-five position... teamed with Silke Buksik in the number-one doubles' position where the duo finished with a 7-9 overall record... finished with a 1-2 record at the 2006 National Independent Women's Tennis Championships... captured singles' and doubles' matches against Laredo Community College, University of South Dakota, Nicholls State and Prairie View A&M. 

2005 Season Freshman- Lee College
In her first season with Lee College, Garcia helped her squad advance to the NJCAA National Championships where the squad finished second overall. 

Samuel Clemens High School
Garcia was a four-year lettermen at Samuel Clemens High School Where she was a three-time team Most Valuable Player during her career... was selected as the team captain during her senior campaign... qualified for the regional championships in doubles' action during the 2003 season... was a member of the Spanish Club and Creative Writing Club... was part of the Newks Academy and USTA... ranked as high as 35th in the State of Texas in Under-18 action during the 2004 season.

Off The Court
Garcia is the daughter of Eduardo and Laverne Garcia... was born Dec. 17, 1985... has one brother Mark... majoring in kinesiology and biology... chose UTPA over Texas A&M- Corpus Christi.
