Final Stats

The University of Texas-Pan American women's tennis program suffered a 5-2 loss to New Mexico State this Friday (Feb. 26) afternoon at the New Mexico State Tennis Center in Las Cruces, NM.

The women were unable to secure the doubles point after picking up a win in No. 1 doubles with Megan Bedeau and Luisa Cantu defeating Isabela Kulaif and Aleksa Costa 8-4.

The Lady Broncs lone wins in singles action came in the No. 2 spot with Megan Bedeau handing Manon Sylvain a 6-2, 6-4 loss. After dropping her match the day before, Ciric returned with vengeance and captured a 2-6, 6-4, 7-10 victory over Costa in the No .3 spot of the rotation.

With injuries to the team, the women are having to give up decisions in No .3 doubles and in No. 6 singles.

The loss drops the women to 0-6 for the season and improves the Aggies to 4-4 for the season. The Lady Broncs cap off the three-match road slate with a 9:00 a.m. match against Northern Arizona.
