LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's tennis team fell to the #57 University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns 6-0 Friday afternoon.

The Broncs (4-4) came close to earning a point in the #2 position as Ricardo Hopker took Carlin Murray to three sets but fell 6-3, 4-6, (0-1).

The Ragin Cajun's (9-5) took the rest of the singles matches in straight sets. Beau Bernstein fell to Yanick Mandl, 5-7, 3-6 in the #1 position. Chetan Panditi lost to Damian Farinola, 2-6, 3-6 in the #3 position.

Rolf Neiderstrasser fell to Ted Nilsson 1-6, 0-6 in the #4 position. Sebastian Job lost to Jarred Wynan, 0-6, 2-6 in the #5 position. Victor Alves battle with Carl Alberton but fell 4-6, 2-6 in the #6 singles position.

The Broncs will continue their seven-match road trip as they face Jackson State University on Saturday 11:00 a.m.
