WACO – Sophomore Katia Stavroulaki dropped her back draw match to close out the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals for the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team on Sunday at Hurd Tennis Center.
 
Stavroulaki fell to Texas Christian University's Simona Parajova 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the back draw for a chance to advance to the championship match. Stavroulakie had a strong showing at the ITA Regionals as she recorded three singles victories and teamed with junior Reegan Greenwood for a doubles victory.
 
The Broncs are back in action on October 25 when they travel to San Marcos for the Texas State Play Day.
