EDINBURG – Sophomore Reegan Greenwood earned a straight set victory at the No. 4 singles position but it wasn't enough as the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team fell 4-1 to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners on Sunday at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
 
Greenwood earned the lone point for the Broncs (12-6) at No. 4 singles. Greenwood defeated Nicole Karaklis in straight sets 6-1, 6-2. Greenwood improves to 12-3 in singles competition during dual match play while also posting a 4-0 record at the No. 4 position.
 
The Roadrunners (8-7) won the matches at No. 1, 2 and 3 in straight sets to clinch the match. The rest of the matches went unfinished once the match was decided.
 
UTSA clinched the doubles point as they won at No. 1 and 3 spots. The match at No. 2 doubles went unfinished.
 
The Broncs are back in action on Friday March 21 at 2 p.m. when they host the University of the Incarnate Word at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
