EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men's basketball team (2-5) plays host to the Angelo State University Rams (8-0), the No. 7 ranked team in NCAA Division II, on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

It's First Responders Day, meaning firefighters, police officers, coast guard, and EMS personnel get free admission to the game. Families and guests of first responders can also take advantage of $5 discounted tickets.

UTRGV Athletics is also collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Angel Quintanilla Foundation. Anyone donating will receive free admission. Current UTRGV students, who already receive free admission, will recieve a free concession stand item.

One lucky fan in attendance will win a car wash card, courtesy of Blue Wave Express.

Doors open at 1.

The game will be televised live throughout the state on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, channel 323. Jonah Goldberg handles the play-by-play while Tony Forina offers the color commentary.
