EL PASO – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team is set to face the Western New Mexico University Mustangs in a neutral site match on Thursday on the campus of the University of Texas El Paso.
This is the third match of 10 straight matches away from the Orville Cox Tennis Center.

Reegan Greenwood recorded her fifth straight singles victory but the Broncs fell 1-6 to the University of Texas San Antonio Roadrunners..
Greenwood recorded the lone point for the Broncs (5-7) after she defeated Nicole Karaklis at No. 4 singles. After dropping her first set 1-6, Greenwood bounced back with a 6-4 win in the second set and then followed that with another 6-4 win in the third set.
The Broncs fell behind early as the Roadrunners (8-6) took the doubles point with wins on court two and three and then followed with singles victories on courts one, two, six, five and three to clinch the match.
Scouting the MustangsThe Mustangs are 5-9 heading into Thursday's match with the Broncs. They are coming off of a 0-9 loss to Armstrong Atlantic State University on March 14 after defeating San Diego Christian University 7-2 on March 13.
Ganna Tiurina leads the Mustangs with an 8-5 record while playing all her matches at the No. 1 singles spot. Pauline Emin adds a 7-7 record while playing at singles No. 3, 4 and 5. She has a 1-1 at the No. 3 spot, a 1-3 record at the No. 4 spot and a 5-3 record at the No. 5 spot.
In doubles, the team of Tiurina and Annica Betz has posted a 4-9 record while playing all of their matches at the No. 1 spot.
The SeriesThis is the first ever match up between the Broncs and the Mustangs.
GlobetrottersThe Broncs currently have nine student-athletes on the roster representing six different countries including Colombia, England, France, Greece, Mexico and the United States.
Next UpThe Broncs are back in action on Friday, March 20, when they head to Las Cruces, New Mexico to face WAC opponent Grand Canyon.
