PHOENIX, Ariz. – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's tennis team closed out its regular season with a 5-2 win over the University of Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos on Sunday at the Paseo Racquet Center.
 
The Broncs (9-11) grabbed the early lead after sweeping through doubles. The team of Katia Stavroulaki and Reegan Greenwood recorded an 8-5 win over Maddie Schulte and Dimitra Stavrianakou on court one. Mariana Ranzahuer and Lison Le Biavant defeated Amellie Amsallem and Allie Schulte 8-5 on court two and Christel Amsallem and Natacha Minc beat Marina Albert and Linda Ammar Mohoub 8-3 on court three.
 
In singles, the Broncs continued to control the match with four wins. Stavroulaki posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Stavrianakou on court one while Reegan Greenwood beat Marina Albert 7-5, 6-3 on court three.
 
Ranzahuer extended her win streak to six straight matches with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Raquel Argenal on court five and Natacha Minc posted a 6-3, 6-1 win over Allie Schulte on court six.
 
The Kangaroos (8-11) got on the board with wins on courts two and four.
 
The Broncs head to Kansas City, Missouri on April 24 for the Western Athletic Conference Championships.
