Final ResultsRIVERSIDE, Calif. – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's golf team used a final round 317 to finish in seventh place at the Battle at the Rock on Tuesday at the Oak Quarry Golf Club.
The Broncs used that 317 to jump North Dakota for seventh place as they finished with a three-round score of 992 (336,339,317). The Broncs finished nine strokes behind Bakersfield for sixth place while tournament host, UC Riverside, won the team championship with a three-round score of 887.

Blake Peterson led the Broncs with a final round two-over par 74 as she finished in a tie for 14
th with a three-round score of 236 (79,83,74). Senior
Marisa Canales finished in 30
th place with a three-round score of 252 (88,84,80) after shooting a final round 80.

Melissa Bernal posted a final round 77 to finish with a three-round score of 253 (89,87,77) as she finished tied for 31
st. Senior
Ashley Garcia posted a three-round score of 258 (87,85,86) after shooting a final round 86 to finish tied for 34
th and sophomore
Kelsey Canales finished in 36
th with a three-round score of 262 (82,92,88) after shooting a final round 88.
UC Riverside's Brittani Ferraro and Hannah Facchini finished tied for first place after shooting a three-round score of 220.
The Broncs now prepare for the Western Athletic Conference Championships on April 20 in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
