FORT WORTH – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's tennis team fell 0-4 to Texas Christian University (TCU) to close out its weekend on Sunday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
 
TCU (4-3) jumped out to the early lead by taking doubles courts one and two. Junior Dorris Aleksovska and sophomore Anastasia Belyaeva were tied at four with Aleksa Cveticanin and Meredith Roberts on court three before it went unfinished.
 
TCU added wins on singles courts four, one and three to close out the match. Junior Dominique Ibarra took the first set 6-3 against 59^th ranked Aleksandra Zenovka before it went unfinished in the second set. UTRGV (2-4) also had its matches on courts five and six go unfinished.
 
UTRGV will be back in action on Sunday, February 11, when it hosts UTSA at the Orville Cox Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
