HOUSTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's tennis team fell 0-4 to the University of Houston on Monday at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility.
 
UTRGV (6-7) fell behind early in the match as Houston (15-1) took the doubles points with wins on courts one and two. 
 
In singles, Houston won on courts one, six, and two to clinch the win. 
 
Junior Dominique Ibarra won the first 7-5 against Lauren Alter on court three but the match was stopped in the second set when the match was clinched. 
 
Sophomore Anastasia Belyaeva also won her first set as she picked up the 6-4 win against Alison Mills on court four but she found herself down 4-2 in the second when the match was stopped. 
 
UTRGV will be back in action on Monday March 12 when it travels to Houston to face the University of Houston at 3 p.m.,
