BROWNSVILLE – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Adolios at 2370 North St. in Brownsville are set to host the first UTRGV watch party of the academic year on Thursday when volleyball faces Grand Canyon at 7 p.m. 
 
Fans, students, faculty and staff in the lower Rio Grande Valley community are invited to cheer on the UTRGV to a victory at Adolios. 
 
Be one of the first fans to arrive at the watch parties to get your hands on some UTRGV swag at the door. There will also be raffle drawings to win exclusive prizes during commercial breaks.

UTRGV student organizations and departments are encouraged to get involved by adopting a watch party as a group outing or social gathering by visiting GoUTRGV.com/WatchParty. 
 
Thursday's host organization is UTRGV Fraternity and Sorority Life.
