RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 11 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on how some of them they're doing, courtesy of

In his professional debut,
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored a game-high 24 points, but his team, Larochette, fell to T71 in the Luxembourg Total League on Saturday.
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 15 points with nine rebounds in 25 minutes to lead Azuqueca past Zentro Basket 68-63 in the Spanish EBA on Saturday. In his fourth season with the team, Valera is averaging 15.7 points and 7.2 rebounds in six games.
Shaquille Hines (2012-16) scored 11 points with five rebounds to lead Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt to a victory over Ratiopharm Ulm in the German BBL on Sunday. Hines is averaging 7.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in five games.
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) scored 12 points with five rebounds in 22 minutes, but Kalev/Cramo fell at Parma, snapping a three-game winning streak. Joesaar is averaging 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals in five games.
