RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 11 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on how some of them they're doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) was the scored a career-high 27 points with seven rebounds and four assists to lead Larochette past Contern 98-91 in the Luxembourg Total League last Saturday. Winn is averaging 25.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
 
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 18 points with four rebounds as Azuqueca fell to Quintanar 81-78. Valera is averaging 16.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
 
Perry Petty (2010-11) scored 16 points with six assists and four steals to lead Gorgan past Army 78-49 in the Iranian Superleague. Petty is averaging 14.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
 
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) scored 11 points with nine rebounds to send BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinnis past Rapla 92-60 in the Estonian EstLatBL on Saturday. Joesaar is averaging 9.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in six games.
