RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 13 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on how some of them they're doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored 22 points with 19 rebounds and three steals as Larochette fell to Basket Esch 81-71. Winn is averaging 21.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in seven games. 
 
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) scored 23 points with 13 rebounds to lead Kalev/Cramo to a 94-87 victory over Enisey in the VTB United League last Friday. Joesaar is averaging 10.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in 10 games.
 
Perry Petty (2010-11) scored eight points with four assists to help Gorgan past Toufarghan 73-61 in the Iranian Superleague on Monday. Petty is averaging 18.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game.
 
Lauri Toivonen (2011-14) scored nine points to help Kobrat past Pyrinto 97-92 in the Finnish Korisliiga last Wednesday. Toivonen is averaging 3.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Lew Stallworth (2016-18) plays for BC Zaporizhya in Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague
Luis Valera (2008-10) plays for Azuqueca in Spanish EBA
