EDINBURG – There are currently at least a dozen players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on how some of them they're doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:

Shaquille Hines (2012-16) scored a team-high 20 points with nine rebounds, but Basketball Loewen Braunschweig fell to Bayern Muenchen 70-59 on the road on Saturday. Hines is averaging 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. 

Luis Valera (2008-10) scored six points for Azuqueca in a 62-70 loss to Zornotza in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division). Valera recorded 6 points. Valera is averaging 7.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 33 games.

Adonis Rwabigwi (6'9''-F-95) played for Team Washington in the Eurobasket S.League last year
Brandon Provost (6'3''-PG-90) played for Air Force Bomb Squad in The Basketball Tournament last year
