FORT WORTH – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's tennis team fell 0-7 to Texas Christian University (TCU) on Wednesday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
 
The Vaqueros (1-11) dropped the doubles point as TCU (4-7) won at the No. 2 and 1 doubles spots to take the early lead. The match at No. 3 doubles between freshmen Kristyna Mamivoca and Valeria Montero and Chole Hule and Mercedes Aristegui went unfinished. 
 
TCU then swept through singles to clinch the win. 
 
UTRGV will be back in action on March 21 when it heads to Las Cruces, New Mexico to face Grand Canyon for the start of the first WAC Cluster.
