RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Thursday that individual tickets for the men's and women's basketball games at the UTRGV Fieldhouse are now on sale.
 
Tickets to the 12 men's and 13 women's regular season games set be played at the UTRGV Fieldhouse, along with tickets for the men's basketball games at the South Padre Island Convention Centre on Nov. 20, can be purchased online at UTRGVTickets.com or by contacting the UTRGV Athletics Ticket Office team of Seth Jones (956-665-3877), Carlos Munoz (956-665-3747) and Eddie Galvan (956-665-3415) over the phone or through email at tickets@utrgv.edu.
 
Tickets for games at Bert Ogden Arena and the women's basketball games at the South Padre Island Convention Centre will go on sale at a later date.
 
Current UTRGV students receive free general admission to all home games and can pick up their tickets at the UTRGV Fieldhouse box office on game day. Students will be asked to RSVP in advance for their tickets to games on South Padre Island during the week leading up to the games.
 
For the general public, general admission tickets cost $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens (65+) and current UTRGV faculty and staff, and $5 for kids (ages 17 and under).
 
Reserved tickets for adults are $12 in sections A, D and H and $15 in sections B, C and G. Reserved tickets in any of the aforementioned sections are $10 for senior citizens and current UTRGV faculty and staff and $7 for kids.
 
Courtside seats are $25 each.
 
The women's basketball team hosts Dallas Christian for an exhibition game on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. Admission is complimentary.
 
The men's basketball team opens the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. against Texas A&M International at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
 
The women's basketball plays its home opener on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. against McNeese State at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
