RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 13 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Johnny Crnogorac (2017-19) scored 11 points with seven rebounds and five blocks as the Albury Wodonga Bandits fell to the Frankston Blues 115-80 in the NBL1 South group. Crnogorac is averaging 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds in seven games.
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored six points with five rebounds and five assists as the Tampa Bay Titans fell to the Gulf Coast Lions 101-100. Winn is averaging 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Isaiah Fontaine (2018-20) played for Raiders Basket in Finnish 1st Division and was selected fifth in the BSN Puerto Rico Draft to play with Mets de Guaynabo
Shaquille Hines (2012-16) plays for DEAC in Hungarian A Division and will play for Team Relentless in TBT this summer
Jordan Jackson (2017-20) is set to play for the Utah Valor in TBT
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) plays for Kalev/Cramo in Estonian KML
Xavier McDaniel Jr. (2016-18) played for Seattle Mountaineers in the ABA last year
Perry Petty (2010-11) plays for Gorgan in Iranian Superleague
Tyson Smith (2018-19) played for Orbi in Georgian A League last year
Lew Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Timisoara in Romanian Liga Nationala
Lauri Toivonen (2011-14) plays for Nokia in Finnish Korisliiga
Luis Valera (2008-10) plays for Guadalajara in Spanish EBA
