RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 15 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) led Musel Pikes to a 91-78 victory over Arantia in the Luxembourg LBBL on Wednesday. Winn scored 38 points with 14 rebounds and four assists. Winn is averaging 25.0 points, 14.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 15 games.
 
Perry Petty (2010-11) scored 17 points with four rebounds, four assists and five steals to lead Gorgan to a 99-82 victory against Kouchin in the Iranian Superleague on Friday. Petty is averaging 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
 
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) scored six points with five rebounds as medi Bayreuth fell at ratiopharm Ulm 92-81 in the German BBL. Joesaar is averaging 9.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.

Xavier McDaniel Jr. (2016-18) plays for Seattle Mountaineers in the ABA.
Tyson Smith (2018-19) plays for Arena-Orbi Tbilisi in the Georgian A League.
Luis Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Musel Pikes in the Luxembourg LBBL.
Paul Stoll (2006-08) plays for Fuerza Regia de Monterrey of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional.
Lauri Toivonen (2011-14) plays for Nokia in the Finnish Korisliiga.
Luis Valera (2008-10) plays for Guadalajara in Spanish EBA
Lesley Varner Jr. (2016-20) plays for UBSC Raiffeisen Graz in Austrian BSL
