RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 15 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Jordan Jackson (2017-20) scored 30 points with seven rebounds, six assists and four steals as Antranik fell to Beirut 80-75 in the Lebanese LBL. Jackson is averaging 26.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 4.2 steals per game.
 
Lesley Varner II (2016-20) scored 22 points with seven rebounds as the Kapfenberg Bulls fell at UBC St. Poelten 86-80 in overtime in the Austrian BSL. Varner is averaging 13.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
 
Mike Adewunmi (2021-22) scored 14 points with six rebounds and four assists as Shumen fell to Balkan 88-63 in the Bulgarian NBL on Wednesday. Adewunmi is averaging 12.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
 
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 14 points with six rebounds as Guadalajara beat the CB Fuenlabrada Madrid 2nd team 69-59 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday. Valera is averaging 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
 
Javon Levi (2017-21) scored 11 points with four rebounds and three assists to lead Dubrovnik to a 103-72 victory over Samobor in the Croatian Prva Liga (second division) on Sunday. Levi is averaging 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 3.8 steals per game.

Xavier McDaniel Jr. (2016-18) played for Elite 1 Storm in the PHASE1 Academy Elite 1 Caribbean Basketball Summer League.
Perry Petty (2010-11) plays for Parque Sur in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina
Lew Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Tskhum-Abkhazeti in Georgian Superleague
Paul Stoll (2006-08) plays for Fuerza Regia de Monterrey in Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Professional and recently led Team Mexico in the 2022 FIBA AmeriCup.
Terry Winn III (2017-19) plays for JobStairs Giessen 46ers in German ProA
