RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's basketball team announced on Friday that it will host summer camp for kids ages 6 through rising high school seniors Aug. 1-4 at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
 
Registration for the camps can be completed at https://camps.jumpforward.com/utrgvmbbcamps.
 
UTRGV coaches as well as additional instructors that may include UTRGV players lead the camp.
 
All campers receive a t-shirt and a basketball. Full day campers will receive lunch. Water, Gatorade, and snacks will be available for purchase.
 
Basketball Camp (Aug. 1-4, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
The basketball camp is open kids of all skill levels ages 6 through rising high school seniors. This camp will be focused on teaching the fundamentals of basketball, building teamwork within the game, and competing during every repetition.
 
Cost: $175 for four full days or $125 for four half days
Registration Deadline: July 28, 11:59 p.m.
