RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 13 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored 19 points with 11 rebounds to lead the North Adelaide Rockets to a 96-66 victory over the Eastern Mavericks in the Australian State League (second division) on Saturday. Winn is averaging 15.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assist and 1.8 steals in four games.
 
Shaquille Hines (2012-16) scored 17 points with 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Nishinomiya Storks to a 78-51 victory over Kagawa FA in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday. Hines is averaging 15.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 54 games.
 
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 21 points with five rebounds as Guadalajara fell to La Matanza 74-65 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday. Valera is averaging 10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 22 games.
 
Lesley Varner II (2016-20) scored 15 points with five rebounds and two blocks as UBSC Raiffeisen Graz fell to UBC St. Poelten in the Austrian BSL. Varner is averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
 
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) scored 11 points with seven rebounds as medi Bayreuth fell at Skyliners 82-70. Joesaar is averaging 10.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Lew Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Tskhum-Abkhazeti in the Georgian Super League.
Paul Stoll (2006-08) plays for Hapoel SP Tel Aviv in the Israel-Winner League.
