RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 13 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 10 points in 15 minutes to help Gigantes de Guayana beat Marinos 90-60 in the Venezuelan SPB on Sunday. Valera is averaging 11.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored 12 points with nine rebounds as the North Adelaide Rockets fell to the Forestville Eagles 89-66 on the road in the NBL1 Central group of the Australian State League (second division). Winn is averaging 16.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 17 games.

Xavier McDaniel Jr. (2016-18) plays for Flint United in The Basketball League.
Perry Petty (2010-11) plays for Gorgan in Iranian Superleague
Lew Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Tskhum-Abkhazeti in the Georgian Super League.
Paul Stoll (2006-08) plays for Hapoel SP Tel Aviv in the Israel-Winner League.
Lesley Varner II (2016-20) plays for UBSC Raiffeisen Graz in Austrian BSL
