RIO GRANDE VALLEY – There are currently at least 13 players who previously played for the UTRGV men's basketball team actively playing professional basketball. Here is an update on home some of them are doing, courtesy of Eurobasket:
 
Luis Valera (2008-10) scored 12 points with five rebounds and two blocks to lead Gigantes to a 95-87 victory over the Cangrejeros in the Venezuelan SPB on Saturday. Valera is averaging 10.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in six sgames.
 
Terry Winn III (2017-19) scored 19 points with 12 rebounds as the North Adelaide Rockets fell to the Central District Lions 80-71 on the road in the NBL1 Central group of the Australian State League (second division). Winn is averaging 16.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Jordan Jackson (2017-20) plays with Ginásio Clube Figueirense Basketball in Portugal's Proliga.
Janari Joesaar (2014-15) plays for medi Bayreuth in German BBL
Xavier McDaniel Jr. (2016-18) plays for Flint United in The Basketball League.
Perry Petty (2010-11) plays for Gorgan in Iranian Superleague
Lew Stallworth (2015-18) plays for Tskhum-Abkhazeti in the Georgian Super League.
Paul Stoll (2006-08) plays for Hapoel SP Tel Aviv in the Israel-Winner League.
Lesley Varner II (2016-20) plays for UBSC Raiffeisen Graz in Austrian BSL
