Women's Golf Looks to Continue Strong Play at HCU Husky Invitational

SUGAR LAND – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's golf team looks to keep rolling this spring when they compete at the HCU Husky Invitational starting on Monday at Riverbend Country Club.

Tournament Format

The first two rounds will be played on Monday with teams teeing off at 8:15 a.m.
The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m.

Golf Course Info

Riverbend Country Club plays 6,100 yards.
The par for the course is 72.

Maria Jose Ramirez finished tied for 13^th with a three-round score of 231 with rounds of 77, 76, and 78.
Samantha Garza finished tied for 18^th with a three-round score of 233 with rounds of 78, 73, and 82.
Mercedes Vega tied for 33^rd with a three-round score of 238 after posting rounds of 88, 74, and 76.
Sophia Tejeda finished tied for 45^th with a three-round score of 241 after carding rounds of 85, 75, and 81.
